Dr. Abby Jakob
Dr. Abby Jakob was born and raised in Kingsville, Ontario, and after spending eight years away at school, she was proud to return home to take care of your whole family's eye care needs.

Dr. Jakob graduated from Kingsville District High school, where she played basketball and soccer, volleyball, badminton and alto saxophone with the school's jazz band, which won a gold medal! Dr. Jakob is bilingual in English and French. She was awarded a full scholarship to play basketball in Halifax at Dalhousie University, where she graduated with honours in Kinesiology. She attended the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated summacum laude in may 2014. Her proudest achievement from optometry was being voted by her peers as "Colleague of The Year".

Dr. Jakob enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and her new baby, Max, in her spare time! She enjoys getting together with family and close friends, going on the boat to Cedar Point, travelling, and playing with her cats and dog!

Dr. Jakob recently welcomed Baby Dal to her family!
