Next Modular

Gave 1 star ONLY because of Gavin - he was amazing, when we were screwed by a lender who wasted 8 months of our time. (He should leave this robbery of a company) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME GOING MODULAR WITH THIS COMPANY, manufactured maybe. *OVERPRICED & UNDERSTAFFED. At the end of the day, we payed to much money for a house that was half ass'd on the inside & we had to order our own dumpster & do our own clean up. Hell we even had to do our own fixings and call people to make sure things were done for inspections the 3rd /4th go around. Home was also set a quarter to half inch off.

I contracted with Next Modular in March of 2025 to have a modular home built over a walk out basement. I was supposed to be moved in late Aug/Early Sept 2025. It is now September 2026 and the house isn't even close to being finished. It has failed multiple different building inspections multiple times; such as the HVAC that has failed 3 times and still not up to code. The house is unlevel, full of trash and construction defects. The project has been cited by the county for multiple violations. My calls , messages and letters have no effect on the company. There is no current completion date.

I didn’t want to write this but we had a HORRIBLE experience. First, it started out good, We ended up finding a home we loved and began the process. The house was ordered very quickly and We had high hopes for this project, but things quickly took a turn. Originally our house was supposed to be delivered in the end of June and ended up being delayed until August 11th. The house was then set the next day and from there on it was a disaster, our site manager was useless and the money spent for “site managing fees” is a JOKE.
